A corporate writer/editor by day, DJ also conducts expressive poetry workshops with teens and adults in addiction recovery programs and other venues. Her 'slip-jewel' journals, 'threads of life' journals, and line of handmade haiku/origami greeting cards sell through local galleries (or inquiry). Select art collage work has been exhibited and sold through a local gallery. She lives in Springfield, Va., where she is shopping her first full-length poetry manuscript while distracting herself with art and poems and (slowly... very slowly) working on her novel. Her small back yard is a Certified Wildlife Habitat.
